Call for Abstracts

The Calls for Abstracts have closed. Accepted presenters will be contacted by January 31, 2023 and the program will be released in early 2023.

CARSP and ITE Canada invite all interested road safety and transportation professionals and students to share your ideas at the ITE Canada/CARSP 2023 Joint Conference happening June 4-7, 2023, in Winnipeg, MB at the RBC Convention Centre.

The conference theme, Road Safety: Creating Impact Through Diversity, was chosen to reflect the changes and adaptations we have seen in recent years, which include a diverse range of ideas and solutions, as we consider the core values of safety, sustainability, and equitability. The theme was also chosen to signify the importance of using a multidisciplinary approach by involving a variety of stakeholders, who strive to ensure that our solutions work for a variety of end users. The theme will be weaved into the conference program through keynote speakers, panel discussions and in technical presentations. While we encourage ideas focused on the conference theme, we invite submissions from a wide variety of road safety and transportation topics.

Each organization is hosting a separate Call for Abstracts with different procedures and criteria. Authors are invited to submit their abstracts to either or both competitions. However, if an abstract is submitted to both, only one review panel will review the abstract. Which review panel (ITE Canada’s or CARSP’s) will be at the discretion of the conference’s Technical Committee. While the Calls are run separately, the goal will be to blend the accepted abstracts throughout the technical program as much as possible.
